Big Canvassing Kickoff

On the morning of Saturday, October 5, 62 Democratic canvassers were on the job as volunteers to knock doors in two Chatham County precincts. Everyone met at the Chatham County Democratic Party Community Engagement Center for their assignments and instructions.

No one went hungry during the event with coffee and doughnuts to help get started, and keeping with the theme of round food, delicious pizza for lunch.

To help get prepared for the canvass, volunteers were treated to instructions and inspiring words from Rick Morgan; Caroline Deegan; Chatham Democratic Party Chair, Sue Blalock; and Representative Robert Reives.

This was just one of many canvasses by Democrats in Chatham County this election cycle, that are all for the purpose of insuring a well informed electorate and a good turnout during early voting and on Election Day.
