Page 1: CCDP events. CCDP is organizing a carpool to Senator Tillis' office in Raleigh on April 22 from the CEC to take our protests directly to him. Plus don't forget to sign up to attend our upcoming County Convention on April 26 in Pittsboro. And there are several training opportunities.

Two cool things this week: a new Fearrington Democratic Club talk, "Science, Climate, Energy and Us," with prize-winning environmental reporter Lisa Sorg on April 22 (virtual event); AND just added, a People's Town Hall event on April 24 with Senator Chris Murphy (CT), Representative Maxwell Frost (FL), and NCDP Chair Anderson Clayton at a location to be announced in Alamance County! NC Congressman Richard Hudson refuses to hold a town hall, so NCDP is holding one for him.

First, in the local and state section, you will see that NC Justice Allison Riggs is getting a TON of national attention to her battle against Jefferson Griffin. Second, in the national/international section, I want to point out a link in there to the "Project 2025 Tracker." It's a website that keeps track of all the objectives outlined in Project 2025 and the progress that's been made to date in accomplishing them. It's a pretty sobering chronicle, and also offers a preview of what we may expect out of this Administration in the days, weeks and months ahead. It's a reminder of why we all must FIGHT HARD every day to STOP further damage to our Democracy.
