Hands Off!

Indivisible-Chatham County organized one of more than 1,200 Hands Off rallies that were held on Saturday, April 5 in all 50 states.

Chatham County Democrats were among the approximately 1,000 people who gathered at the Chatham County Justice Center in downtown Pittsboro for the rally that protested the Trump administration’s attack on the services and institutions that are the cornerstones of the United States government. The Democrats gathered a few blocks away at the Democratic headquarters, before marching to the rally.

Following remarks by local and state leaders and elected officials, the protesters marched around the Historic Courthouse in downtown Pittsboro.
