Here in Chatham County, NC, the Board of Elections meets on the third Tuesday of every month and the meetings are open to the public. Either in-person or remotely online. You should be attending these meetings in your county. It’s the best way to express your opinions during the public comment portion of the meeting and learn about and understand the election process.
During the September 15 meeting in Chatham County, the elections staff members performed and demonstrated for the board members and the public, the process that they execute on all of the voting equipment that will be used in the upcoming election that begins on October 15. It’s called Logic and Accuracy Testing. It was great to see the care and professionalism exhibited at the local level to insure the security and accuracy of our elections.
