Wesley Harris Visits CEC

As the name suggests, Council of State officials represent the entire state of North Carolina. Therefore they must campaign statewide as they run for office.

We were fortunate that candidate for state treasurer, Wesley Harris, came to the Community Engagement Center in Pittsboro to share his thoughts and answer questions for a group of enthusiastic Chatham Democrats. The event was on the evening of June 18.

Mr. Harris was introduced by Representative and House Democratic Leader, Robert Reives, and the evening was emceed by Chatham Democratic Chair, Sue Blalock.
