Organized by tireless and dedicated volunteer Joanna Hedrick, Siler City’s (NC) March to the Polls took place on Saturday afternoon, October 17.

Carrying signs and chanting, an estimated 58 people made the 10 minute march from downtown Siler City to the poll that was open for voting. Two first-time voters led the march.

Congressional candidate (NC09) Richard Ojeda marched with the other volunteers to express his support. He also took time to pose with supporters for selfies.

Early voting is open until October 31. Election Day is November 3.
