NO KINGS II

The original NO KINGS rally on June 14, 2025 was a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption of President Trump and his allies. We’ve watched as they’ve tried to restrict free speech, detained people for their political views, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts. They’ve done this all while continuing to serve and enrich their billionaire allies.

On October 18, more than 7 million people joined rallies at more than 2,700 events in all 50 states, DC, and cities worldwide to reprise the energy and success of the original rally. Just as with the rally in June, Pittsboro was the site of another rally that was even more successful.

Once again, the Chatham County Democratic Party played a role in the success of NO KINGS.
