NC Democratic Party visits Chatham Democratic Community Engagement Center

On Saturday afternoon, October 22, Chatham Democrats turned out to welcome the North Carolina Democratic Party Vote4NCTour van to Pittsboro.

Dignitaries who were present were Meredith Cuomo, NCDP Executive Director, and Matt Hughes, Second Vice Chair of NCDP. We also had candidates, Robert Reives and Del Turner take a turn at the microphone and also speak individually with those in attendance. Each of the speakers offered words of encouragement and emphasized the importance of strong voter turnout by Democrats across the state.

The loudest cheers came with the recognition of Chatham County as the leader across the state in early voting turnout. Chatham can also be proud of having the three precincts with the highest early voting turnout of the entire state.
