Protests on the circle at the Historic Courthouse in Pittsboro normally take place on Saturdays, but with the weather forecast, it was held a day early on Friday, January 30. The primary topic on protest signs was ICE overreach in states all over the country, including North Carolina.

The event was organized by Indivisible Chatham. Many Chatham Democrats added their voices to the protest.
