Free School Supplies in Siler City

On Saturday August 9, 2025, Chatham County Democrats distributed school supplies that were donated by Chatham Dems for free distribution to school children who needed a jump start on their new school year.

CORA in Siler City was kind enough to allow us to set up a distribution location at their regularly scheduled Saturday food giveaway. To mesh with the traffic flow at the Siler City CORA location, the school supplies were already in grade appropriate backpacks so the students only needed to choose their favorite color.

119 students received backpacks and supplies in Siler City.
