Earth Day Work Day

On April 22, 2023, Earth Day, our own North Chatham Precinct Democrats partnered with the North Chatham Elementary PTA for a work day on the school’s Garden and Trails project. What a great way to engage with our Chatham County neighbors while expressing our support for public schools and a clean and green environment!

During the event, the volunteers of all ages divided seedlings for a plant sale fundraiser; pulled up invasive plants; and did seasonal gardening activities in the school’s garden and along the community walling trails.
