Big Turnout for Commissioner Katie Kenlan
On Sunday afternoon, September 20, more than 100 people joined together to show their support for incumbent candidate Katie Kenlan in her re-election bid for Chatham County Commissioner.
Numerous elected officials and candidates were present to take part in the event. Among them were NC Representative Robert Reives, Superior Court Judge Allen Baddour, NC Senator Jonah Garson, Commissioner Mike Roberson, Sheriff Steve Maynor, Hoke County Commissioner and President of the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners Allen Thomas, Pittsboro Town Commissioner John Bonitz, Siler City Town Commissioner Travis Patterson, former Chatham County Commissioner and current Chatham School Board candidate Diana Hales, incumbent candidate for the Chatham School Board, Jane Allen Wilson, Chatham School Board candidate Sarah D’Amato, and finally with service on numerous boards and commssions, former Chatham County School Superintendent and former Chatham County Commissioner Robert Logan. And of course there were many friends and supporters in attendance.
The event took place at the home of Jen and Dan Swenberg.
