Bernie Sanders in Greensboro

On Sunday, August 10, 2025, a group of Chatham Democrats met at the Pittsboro Community Engagement Center to carpool to Greensboro for the Bernie Sanders tour that was at the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts.
Among other speakers and performers were the UNCG Neo Black Society Gospel Choir, Durham County Commissioner Nida Allam, and UNC law professor Gene Nichol.
More than 3,000 people attended the event.
