House Democratic Leader Robert Reives II and Senate Democratic Leader Dan Blue were the keynote speakers for the 2023 Legislative Reception that was held at the historic NC Democratic Headquarters in Raleigh on the evening of May 23. Many other legislators were also on hand to take part in the event and to speak personally with the large crowd of Democratic constituents who had gathered for the event. Chatham County Democrats were well represented among the attendees.
The event was hosted by NC Democratic Party Chair, Anderson Clayton, along with First and Third Vice Chairs, Jonah Garson and Elijah King, and the staff of the NC Democratic Party.
