Chatham County Clerk of Superior Court

Dana M. Hackney has served as Chatham County Clerk of Superior Court since 2018. She was appointed to complete her predecessor’s term by then Senior Resident Superior Court Judge Carl Fox and was elected that same year.

 

Dana has over twenty years’ experience in the clerk’s office, including judge of probate, and serves on multiple committees with the North Carolina Conference of Clerks of Superior Court. She is also a North Carolina State Bar Certified Paralegal, a graduate of Leadership Chatham and a graduate of Chatham Citizens College.
