Candidate Filing-December 2021
The original calendar for candidate filing had to be abandoned as several groups sued legislators over district maps that were drawn based on the 2020 Census. This created a narrow window of time for candidates to file in December of 2021, as originally scheduled. Candidate filing will resume on February 24 and end on March 4.

Pittsboro Christmas Parade-2021
A number of Democratic elected officials and candidates for county, and district races were on hand to greet thousands of Pittsboro area citizens for this annual festive event.
Pittsboro First Sunday-December, 2021
On the first Sunday of the month from March through December from 12-4 p.m., downtown hosts the Pittsboro First Sunday Artisan Fair & Market. For Chatham County Democrats, it's a great opportunity to see our old friends and make some new ones.
CORA-Turkey Tuesday-2021
To help make Thanksgiving a festive occasion for our neighbors in need, Chatham County Democrats generously donated holiday food items and volunteered their time for this important annual event.
Hickory Mountain Litter Sweeps
Hickory Mountain Precinct Democrats banded together on two occasions to pick up roadside litter within the precinct. They collected a combined total of 40 bags of trash.
