Let's celebrate Dr. King's legacy through service!
The Chatham County Democratic Party invites you to participate in a morning of Service at Northwood High School, on January 20th from 9-11 am,, where we will create care packages, cards, and friendship bracelets for the children and families that were affected by Hurricane Helene in western NC. The event will feature a keynote address by Dr. Anthony Jackson, Superintendent of Chatham County Schools and is organized by Chatham County Schools Excellence and Opportunity Department in partnership with the Rotary Club of Pittsboro.
The organizers have asked that we please NOT wear our CCDP t-shirts so that we keep the event nonpolitical and make it a day of peace and service. HOWEVER, after the morning of service, the CCDP is hosting a sandwich lunch at the CEC office (please register for lunch separately below).
